Rebecca Fraine

Rebecca Fraine director of Helen's Chocolates, Bowness on Windermere has been raising money for the Open Arms International new baby home.  A few weeks ago she took part in her final fundraising event and faced her fear of flying by organising a sponsored dual hang glider flight with Judy Leden. They were  towed up to 3,000 feet by a microlight aircraft and then on releasing the tow rope, were left at one with the elements.  Rebecca said the experience was something that she will always remember - the serenity, and despite the thermals, the soft landing in a field of buttercups.
