Meet the Children at the Open Arms Village

Open Arms Village is now home to 47 children, 39 of those are either orphaned, abandoned, or living in unsafe conditions.  Many were rescued trying to survive life on the streets.  The other eight are the biological children of our house parents; Peter and Stella, Joel and Sally, and Paul and Sarah.  These children share their parents with up to 13 other brothers and sisters in our three children’s homes.  In the coming months, as the building of 2 new homes is completed we will be able to provide relief from physical, emotional and spiritual suffering for many more children.

Open Arms through the generous support of the sponsors is able to provide a loving home with indigenous, nurturing house parents.

Your sponsorship will cover all of the child’s needs: food, housing within a  family home, quality education and specialist support, school uniform and study books, clothing and medical care.

Our sponsorship programme is run on two levels:

Sole Sponorship: @ £175.00 per month – As a ‘sole sponsor’ you will be funding all the needs of one of the children in the village.

Partner Parent: @ £29.00 per month – This is our most popular form of sponsorship, where six ‘partner parents’ provide the full funding necessary to provide every need for an individual child.

As a  child sponsor you and your family have the opportunity to develop a life-long relationship with the child. You will receive two letters from the child per year and one photograph.

Please consider sponsoring one or more of our children and become a part of changing their lives forever.  To sponsor a child, either fill out a request for sponsorship form  here or email susanna@openarms.org.uk.
